Last May we started making great things happen with a Summer Fundraiser on Crowdrise. Because of your enthusiastic support we were able to gift 49 Fighter Ts to women in cancer treatment!
We were so excited about that we signed up for the Crowdrise Giving Tuesday Holiday Challenge in November and because of you, our amazing friends, you’re your donations, we were able to give another 73 Fighter Ts away. We even enlisted Cupid’s help to wrap them up like Valentines!
You, Us, Crowdrise, The Fighter T… It’s a Love Fest! So we have a new plan. We’ve extended our original campaign to THE FIGHTER T FOREVER GIVING CAMPAIGN ON CROWDRISE! That’s right! FOREVER! We are going to keep it going so that we can raise funds to gift Fighter Ts all year round!
OUR DREAM IS TO BE SHIPPING THOUSANDS OF CROWDRISE FUNDED FIGHTER Ts ALL AROUND THE WORLD TO WOMEN IN CANCER TREATMENT…. and we are all about making dreams come true! snap!
Q: WHAT IS A FIGHTER T?
A: The Fighter T was created by breast cancer survivor Allison W. Gryphon (that’s me!) and clothing designer Piper Gore. The goal: a soft, practical, functional and stylish piece for women in breast cancer treatment – and then we found out women in all types of cancer treatment love it and are finding it helpful too! It has lined top to bottom zipper, is soft on tender skin and has a lovely cut that adds fashion to practical comfort.

ABOUT YOUR FUNDRAISER (You can Paste and/or customize the following – Adding a one sentence intro on you / your team would be great!)
Our goal is to donate 100 Fighter Ts to 100 women in cancer treatment. Our dream is to donate 1,000 Fighter Ts to 1,000 women and beyond.
The Fighter T was created by breast cancer survivor Allison W. Gryphon and clothing designer Piper Gore. The goal: a soft, practical, functional and stylish piece for women in breast cancer treatment.
The Fighter T hides post-op drains and is easy on-and-off for surgical recovery and daily doctor appointments. It has lined top to bottom zipper, is soft on tender skin and has a lovely cut that adds fashion to practical comfort.
For each donation of $55 USD we are able to donate and ship one Fighter T to a woman facing a mastectomy, lumpectomy, reconstruction, chemotherapy, radiation or for any other type of cancer treatment.
The Fighter T was created and is produced under the Fighting Cancer with Fashion wing of The Why? Foundation.
All of the funds raised from sales of the Fighter T go back into the production of more Fighter Ts, gifting Fighter Ts to those in need and the expansion of the program and production.
